Prison Mobile Phone Signal Interference Solution
With the continuous development and popularization of mobile phones, the technical level of personal mobile communication methods has improved significantly, especially after the popularization and application of 3G and 4G technologies, the negative impact on prisons, detention centers and other similar fields has become more and more prominent. In prisons, detention centers and other supervision areas, not only prisoners but also guards are prohibited from using mobile phones or other means of communication. Once the mobile phone is brought into the prison and put into use, it will bring great harm to the management and security of the prison. Some prisoners use illegally smuggled mobile phones to call, send text messages, obtain information, threaten witnesses, and even organize gang escapes. Therefore, it is particularly urgent to install mobile phone signal shielding system in prisons and other supervision areas.
Our company has successfully developed a series of mobile phone signal jammers by using advanced electronic jamming technology with independent intellectual property rights. The system is mainly composed of the main control system and the jammer. The main control system consists of the control computer, controller and controlled terminal. Medium-power Jammer
Eight medium-power jammers are set at the position of the sentry box and the center of the four-sided high wall, which can basically cover the monitoring area; still there will be coverage blind areas in the middle and interleaved positions of the monitoring area. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the portable jammers to fill the blind spots according to actual test situation.
According to application experience, 8 medium-power jammers and 12 portable jammers need to be configured.
High-power Jammer
Four high-power jammers are set at the position of the sentry box, which can cover most of the monitoring area. Because the buildings in the monitoring area are mainly made from reinforced concrete, signal transmission is blocked, and blind spots may occur in some places. Therefore, it is necessary to increase portable jammers to fill the blind spots according to the actual test situation.
According to general application experience, 4 high-power jammers and 8 portable jammers need to be configured.
Portable jammers are generally used indoors, and the monitoring area covers a range of 10-15 meters, which will not affect anywhere outside the high wall.
Medium-power jammers and high-power jammers are used for large-area outdoor and indoor coverage. Due to the large number of monitoring rooms in the monitoring area, interference signals need to spread through the walls, resulting in great signal attenuation. Therefore, the coverage of medium-power jammers generally is about 30-50 meters, while the coverage of high-power jammers is about 80-120 meters. (The coverage area is determined by the field strength of local base station).
The impact of this outdoor equipment on the surrounding environment is due to the reverse radiation of the antenna, so we use the directional antenna to ensure the directivity of the interference signal. As can be seen from the typical antenna field diagram, the equivalent radiated power on the back of the medium-power directional antenna is about 1/30 of the front of the antenna, and the equivalent radiated power on the back of the high-power directional antenna is about 1/100 of the front of the antenna.
The equivalent radiated power of the medium-power jammer is about 1kw, and the backward equivalent radiated power is about 33w. According to the calculation of the general base station field strength, if the backward is completely empty and without obstacles, the affected distance is about 10-15 meters. Generally, the high wall of the prison is behind the antenna installation, so basically it will not affect the outside.
The equivalent radiated power of the high-power jammer is about 10kw, and the backward equivalent radiated power is about 100w. According to the calculation of the general base station field strength, when the backward is completely empty and unobstructed, the affected distance is about 20-30 meters. Generally, the high wall of the prison is behind the antenna installation, so it has little impact on the outside.
The control range and the impact on the surrounding environment are closely related to the local base station field strength and antenna installation location. In the specific implementation process, the external radiation influence of the antenna can be controlled by some methods such as adjusting the antenna beam range, installing the antenna pitch angle, and adding the antenna reflector.
