Fish Lamp Distributed Power Supply System

Fish lamp distributed power supply system divides its power supply into AC/DC high-voltage power supply and inverter power supply. High-voltage direct current transmission is used between the AC/DC high-voltage power supply and the inverter power supply, which solves the problems such as difficulties in heat dissipation, large number of power supply lines, and large transmission loss in the centralized power supply of metal halide lamps for fishing. This product is mainly based on the basic series,which supports the customization of various fishing vessels, and can also provide system solutions.

Product Structural Performance

a.The fish lamp power supply is divided into AC/DC high-voltage power supply and inverter power supply. AC/DC high-voltage power supply is placed centrally while inverter power supply is distributed along with lamp;

b.One AC/DC high-voltage power supply supplies power to multiple (n) inverters. In general, the corresponding amount n is 8-20, which is determined according to the power relationship between these two, that means the amount n < the power of high-voltage power supply /  lamp power;

c.High-voltage direct current transmission is used between the AC/DC high-voltage power supply and the inverter power supply, DC voltage is 600-800V;

d.AC/DC high-voltage power supply and the inverter power supply are both equipped with a control interface, and the switch can be controlled by the main controller.

Main Technical Parameters

Distributed power supply system is a new-type fish lamp system which is composed of two parts. The front part is composed of a 15KW high-voltage power supply, the back part is composed of a lamp cap ballast. A 15KW high-voltage power supply drives 12 lamp cap ballasts.

(Note: In addition, a new electronic ballast was developed to replace conventional inductive ballasts for the lamp trapping system. Conventional inductive ballasts generally have the disadvantages such as large size and weight, and high power consumption of ballasts. This kind of ballasts also results in the light output of fish metal halide bulbs,to have poor light color stability (large dispersion of color temperature and large drift of color temperature), and the output light has defects such as stroboscopic phenomenon..

Application Scenario Display

It solves the problems of the traditional fish lamp system, and the expected effects are significant.

Targeted Problem 1: difficult heat dissipation

At present, metal halide lamps are the main fish lamps on the market. The fish lamps on fishing vessels are all arranged in an array. Generally, a small fishing vessel has 100-150 lamps, a medium-sized fishing vessel has 380-400 lamps, and a large fishing vessel has 450-850 lamps. Single lamp power is 1kW or 1.5kW, and the lamps are equally spaced into multiple rows and arranged above the sides of the ship's rail. Each metal halide lamp needs to be equipped with a ballast. A large number of ballasts are placed on the shelf in the cabin during the centralized power supply. Heat dissipation is a problem due to long working hours.

Expected Effect 1: solve the heat dissipating problem, avoid the potential security risks

By placing AC/DC high-voltage power supply centrally and distributing inverter power supply along with the lamps, the heat dissipating problem has been properly solved, and the safety measures of the fishing vessels have also been greatly improved.


Targeted Problem 2: large number of power supply lines

The centralized storage of ballasts requires a long transmission cable from the ballast to the lamp, ranging from a dozen meters to dozens of meters or even hundreds of meters.

Expected Effect 2: reduce wiring costs, save space of the power supply cabin

Through the distributed power supply scheme, the number of cables is reduced, the phenomenon of messy cable placement is changed, the space of the power supply cabin is also released, and the sensory comfort of the operators can be improved.


Targeted Problem 3: large transmission loss

Each vessel requires several kilometers or even dozens of kilometers of cable. At the same time, the transmission of large current on such a long cable will inevitably cause power loss due to line voltage reduction.

Expected Effect 3: reduce transmission loss, realize efficient fish collection

With the decrease of the transmission loss, the working efficiency can be improved, the purpose of efficiently fishing can be realized, and the operating cost of fishing personnel is reduced.
